Something´s In The Living Room
Edinburgh Fringe Festival, August 2014.
A darkly humorous one-woman physical theatre show with an elaborate bespoke costume that takes on a life of its own. The costume embodies a myriad of memories and forms, from lava, to creature to cell, until a woman emerges.
Encountering a piano, she receives advice from an over-sized teapot. How do we deceive ourselves in order to survive? Poetic, absurdist, surreal scenes traverse from loss, redemption, to the importance of zebras and vacuuming.
